This professional development workshop is designed for library staff who are responsible for managing school libraries. Participants will gain an overview of best practices for closing out the library at the end of the academic year. The workshop will cover essential topics such as: library policies and procedures, generating end of the year reports, completing library inventory, collecting books and fines, completing the CDE annual library survey, and maintaining effective communication with admin and faculty regarding library updates and end of year data..

Please receive approval from site administration prior to registration. Any time employees are off-site during their regular work hours, they must receive authorization from their administrator to attend
